The Q20 can also be upgraded to a frame, or the frame can be bought with the Bernina Q24 ( 24 inch free arm!). With the most detailed, stable, well built and elegant frame, the long arm machine glides along like no other.

The BERNINA Q20 is designed, engineered, and assembled in Switzerland and comes standard as a sit-down model machine. The lovely piece of Koala furniture that the machine sits in and has been custom made by Horn Australia. Bernina has just brought out a simpler fold up table with the Q20 which reduces the price making it the most attractive sit down long arm quilting machine in the market.

The BERNINA Q20 long arm quilting machine boasts features which are ahead of its time – a well placed in-built bobbin winder, the BERNINA needle threader, ergonomically designed (hand wheel near the sew head as well as the back of the machine), 2 x BERNINA Stitch Regulators (BSR) which allows for responsive stitch regulation all make for a beautiful machine. Another big benefit is that it takes domestic needles which  means you can go to town and use all the speciality needles available. The generous free arm depth and height provide ample space for managing your larger quilts. Each machine is hand built by one engineer, in Switzerland. That’s quality.
