The 7 series machines now have an extra large 7” colour touch screen, a generous 10 inch free arm and the option of 5.5mm or 9mm stitch width, all your boxes are ticked within this range.
The new 735 is the next generation of the recent 720, but with an impressively bigger touch screen! She is intended for the every day sewer, dressmaker and quilter with a 5.5mm stitch width and long arm for sewing ease. While the 735 doesn’t come wiht the BSR ( Bernina Stitch Regulator for quilting), the firmware is inbuilt in case you choose to add the BSR foot on down the track. The BSR is wonderful for first time free motioning quilters, and also for those who just find it hard to step away from the straight line sewing and become fluid with the curves. The BSR regulates the speed of the needle to the speed that you are moving the fabric around, creating the perfect stitch length every time. If you go to fast for the BSR, the foot gives you a ‘beep’ warning, but thankfully no speeding fines ;)
This lovely little lady is also embroidery capable, she has the optional embroidery unit available for purhcase and with the added features of pinpoint placement, group/ungrouping of designs, the capability to rearrange the layers and designs along with the guidence of the embroidery consultan,t the art of embroidery is even easier.

The BERNINA Hook sews high-precision stitches up to 5.5 mm in width with speeds up to 1,000 stitches per minute. The bobbin holds 70% more thread than standard bobbins.

The Patchwork foot 97D with movable guide rail is the special accessory for the most accurate feeding and stitching when piecing patchwork blocks. Its meant for straight stitching
The B 735 offers a full 13-inch extended freearm including 10 inches of space to the right of the needle. Enjoy a large sewing and embroidery area.
The BERNINA Adaptive Thread Tension adjusts the tension electronically to the selected stitch width, length, speed, and needle position on each penetration of the needle into the fabric.
The BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR) which is optional for the B 735 guarantees precise stitch quality and results at any speed during free-motion quilting.
If you would like to embroider down the track, you simply slide on the optional extra embroidery unit and the machine is set to go. With the B 735 you can easily position, mirror, rotate and combine motifs. The Check function lets you position the design precisely before embroidering.
